Fancy a function at our club?
Thank you for your interest in hosting a function at the Sunbury Football Social Club. I hope that the following information will be helpful to you in planning your next event.
Our facilities allow us to offer you a venue to hold your special event. No matter what you’ve got planned, here at the club we will do our best to cater to your every need, ensuring your event runs smoothly.

General Function Information
Room Hire Details
- Room Hire is $200.00.
- A $200 fee is required for the services of a security guard.
- A deposit of $100 is required for any bookings (Deducted from other costs)
- Prior to the commencement time of the function, the hirer is permitted up to two (2) hours access to the venue for setting up (if required)
- The Club also requires a $300 bond to ensure against any damage or costs incurred as a result of the function, which is refundable on inspection of the venue after the function.
Security
- The Sunbury Football Club is responsible for organising all security at the venue.
- Security is required for all functions held.
Minimum Numbers
- A sixty (60) person minimum applies on all Saturday evenings and throughout the month of December. (Management may use their discretion)
Catering
- The Club Bistro is responsible for, and will provide all Catering including meals.
- The Club Bistro has an extensive menu.
- All catering needs can be discussed with the Club’s Management.

Bar Selection
- The function room has its own bar facilities and any supply of beverages will be charged in addition to the room hire fee. The Sunbury Football/Social Club offers several options for the supply of beverages for room hire functions, these are:
- The hirer can provide a determined (limit) amount of money for the consumption of beverages by guests (the type of beverages to be provided will at the hirer’s instructions)
- The bar instructed to provide only beer, wine and soft drinks.
- An arrangement where all beverages are purchased by guests at the bar.
Room Decoration
- Balloons and table decorations can be supplied and displayed by the club at a fee depending of the type of decorations requested.
- Alternately this can be the responsibility of the hirer, however any decorations being considered must be in consultation with management.
Music
- Music can be provided at an additional cost to the room hire
- Alternately this can be the responsibility of the hirer, however any music being considered must be in consultation with management
- Management has the discretion to control the volume levels of music.
Our committee room or History Bistro is available for hire for meetings, training or seminars. The hire fee can be waived if you are a sporting group or a non-profit community organization, conditions apply. White boards and overhead projectors can be arranged.
